A trip to Lisbon helps a nerdy guy, who is quickly approaching 30,to finally get his mojo back. Although partly set in Lisbon, this is essentially a Budapest movie that shows how it feels to be a young adult in Hungary’s capital. “For some inexplicable reason”, its real strength lies in its honesty. The film doesn’t feel like a big budget art movie. It rather makes one feel like roaming around the streets of his hometown with friends. Of course there are some odd details, which do not add up to a thorough story, but isn’t that how real life is?
What do you expect when you meet friends?
