The film is about how a fisherman tries to persuade his donkey Mariza to carry the fish he has caught to the top village of their island in order to sell them. Mariza refuses to climb the steep and windy road. Will the fisherman manage to persuade him?The short animated film Mariza, is a funny short film, created in 2008 by Constantine Krystallis as a final project for the Master of Animation Degree inspired of the Greek Aegean Islands.


THE DIRECTOR
Constantine Krystallis
An experienced character animator in all disciplines of animation, from games to tv series and commercials. Constantine Krystallis is a professional 3D Character animator with generalist skills and high regard to detail and precision. He is able to give tasteful character and personality to animated and inanimate objects. Mariza is a short 3d animated film he created back in 2008 for the MA of Animation course he took at the University of Technology Sydney. Previous work in the areas Games Development and Advertising includes: being part of the team for the development and release of Darkfall online, by Aventurine SA. Mostly involved but not limited to creature animations and Video Effects. He has producing animations for Iphone applications with RockPocket SA. He has been working for promotional projects for clients like Nestle, 3M, Henkel, Nescafe, Buondi, Diageo, etc.
